Mr. Stanley is a former Colorado Senior Deputy District Attorney. Mr. Stanley, with years of experience as a former senior prosecutor, has unique insight into what is involved with the decision-making process and analysis of a criminal prosecution. He has knowledge and understanding of how the criminal justice system works and uses what he has learned over many years to benefit his clients. Knowing how decision makers, the prosecutors and the judges, think and analyze a case provides a solid basis to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. He has extensive experience with every category of criminal offense, including Murder, Assault, Drug Offenses, Theft, Financial Crimes, Domestic Violence and DUI.

Mr. Stanley's law practice focuses on helping individuals accused of a crime or DUI in Colorado. His passion is to ensure that every step is taken, and every possible measure is used to achieve the best possible case outcome for his clients. To accomplish this, it is crucial that the prosecutor fully understands the total picture surrounding the facts of the case. This total picture is usually omitted when the police bring a case to the prosecutor. Mr. Stanley has developed a skill in identifying, developing and effectively presenting the aspects of a case that places his clients in the best possible light. Many of Mr. Stanley's clients have been falsely accused. When he takes on a case where the client has been falsely accused, Mr. Stanley works tirelessly to uncover what is missing in the police investigation and reveal the truth. Of course, each case is different and defensible to different degrees. Mr. Stanley's clients are consistently extremely satisfied with what he can accomplish for them.

Mr. Stanley's experience is not limited to the law. In addition to his legal training and extensive courtroom experience, Mr. Stanley has a diverse background, equipping him for problem solving, case fact analysis and the ability to easily relate to his clients as well as his opponents in the courtroom. Mr. Stanley believes a well-rounded person with varied life experiences is important to the successful pracice of law, which involves significant personal and human interaction. Mr. Stanley has a broad background of life experiences, including the following: Crewman on a helicopter search and rescue team with the U.S National Park Service, wild land firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Department of Interior, sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, with an Honorable Discharge and Professional forester in the Pacific Northwest for a major timber company.

Mr. Stanley is known for his tenacity, attention to detail and requirement of a complete and comprehensive investigation on every case he accepts. When necessary, he employs only the most experienced and competent investigators. When he accepts a case, he will make it his mission to work tirelessly to uncover every aspect and nuance in the case to determine what makes it unique and what can lead to the best possible outcome for his clients.

Mr. Stanley is licensed to practice law in Colorado State Courts (reg. #13475), the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado and the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice includes the entire front range area, including Jefferson, Denver, Arapahoe, Adams, Boulder, Douglas, Broomfield, Elbert, Gilpin, Kiowa, Larimer, Weld, Summit, Clear Creek, Park, Summit, Grand, El Paso, Eagle, Lake, Teller, Lakewood, Arvada and Golden.
