The firm was founded in 1986 by W.H. Taylor and Michael H. Mashburn and was known as Mashburn & Taylor until November 2000, when Mr. Mashburn was elected to the position of Circuit Judge.

The firm's attorneys are licensed to practice in all state and federal courts, in civil, criminal and family law matters.
