While the bulk of our practice consists of representing people who have been injured in automobile accidents, we also represent local and national businesses and local government entities. We represent people in almost all types of civil litigation, including domestic and family law, and can represent clients in many criminal matters as well. We provide planning services, both for businesses who are just starting out and those that have made a name for themselves, and for people and families who want to make long-term decisions for their estates and their care.

Colvin | Brothers Law Firm, APLC was established by David L. Colvin in 1980 in Gretna, a city located in Jefferson Parish, and a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana. Since that time, the Firm has delivered the highest quality legal service for its clients. From an early age, David hoped to become a lawyer so that he could help people who needed an outstanding and passionate advocate for their cause. David has worked for thirty years to develop the Colvin Law Firm into a leader in the legal community, a firm that has received the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell for ability and ethics and one that serves its clients with highest level of integrity, compassion and professionalism.
