About this firm

The Winchester Law Firm is a partnership which was founded in 1907 by the father of the firm's present senior partner. Many of the firm's clients are successful, closely held businesses and their owners who require a broad spectrum of business related legal services. In addition, the firm's civil litigation practice ranges from an individual with a tort claim to financial and brokerage institutions who need to be defended in a lawsuit to general business and commercial disputes. Several of its lawyers have lengthy experience in real estate related matters, including structure of and closing complex transactions, real estate development and litigation of real estate and construction disputes. The firm serves in a risk management capacity for clients on a national basis. Its lawyers have successfully prosecuted class actions against international corporations and against urban municipalities. The firm represents local governmental entities, including issuers of bonds, suburban municipalities and school boards. The firm has experienced estate lawyers who plan and probate estates and who work extensively in the areas of corporate taxation and qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation. Several render services in the area of nonprofit organizations, including 501(c)(3) entities. The firm strives to provide top quality legal services with efficiency and dispatch for its clients. Its attorneys realize that clients need results and they work earnestly towards these client goals. They focus on productivity, not activity.
