JEFFREY
S. WITTENBRINK is the owner of Wittenbrink Law Firm, and has
been helping people through his practice of Louisiana law for over
thirty-three years. He is a Board-Certified
Family Law Specialist, certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal
Specialization, and has practiced primarily family law for over
twenty-five years. His practice includes complicated divorce and
custody matters involving child support, spousal support and
community property partitions, protection against family violence,
adoptions and grandparent custody and visitation issues. In addition,
he has wide practice experience in general civil litigation, advising
clients on matters involving civil rights and COVID-19 related rights
violations, health care and health care regulation, personal injury
and insurance claims, property and boundary disputes, homeowner's
association claims and defenses, landlord-tenant issues and wills and
successions. Mr. Wittenbrink previously a partner at Carleton, Hebert
Wittenbrink & Shoenfelt, LLC, previously served as a Supervising
Attorney at Capital Area Legal Services where he started and
supervised the Battered Women's Section and supervised Rural Legal
Services Delivery.
Mr.Wittenbrink
is admitted in all Louisiana state and federal courts and the United
States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar
Association where he is the Chairman of the Family LawSection
council, the Baton Rouge Bar Association where he served as past
Chair of the Family LawSection, Law Day, Education, and Membership
committees and where he presently serves on the publications,
pro-bono and law day committees. He is the previous recipient of the
President's award (twice)
and Century Club awards (five times) for service to the Bar and for
pro-bono services, respectively from the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
He is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell Peer
Review Rating, rated "Superb" on Avvo rating services and
was recently awarded the "Clients Choice"
award for 2018 from Avvo. He has a five-star Client rating on
Lawyers.com. He is a member of
Grace Life Fellowship. He is an active Kiwanian, currently serving
his second term on the Board for the
Louisiana Mississippi West Tenn. District Foundation, Treasurer for
the Past District Officers of Div.
8B, previously serving as Lt. Governor for Division 8B of that
District (twice), and Past President of
the Cortana Kiwanis club of Baton Rouge. He is a graduate of
Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center (J.D., 1987)
and Louisiana State University (B.A., 1984).
