Mr. Pinkney, born 5/23/65, admitted to bar 1992. John is a partner with the Firm Slovak Baron Empey, LLP. Prior to joining Slovak Baron Empey, Mr. Pinkney practiced 18 years at Best Best & Krieger LLP.

Mr. Pinkney currently serves as City Attorney to the City of Needles, California and serves as general counsel to a public utility authority and as general counsel to the Colorado River Medical.

Mr. Pinkney also handles litigation matters for Native American Tribes and several banking institutions.

Mr. Pinkney has successfully represented clients in large and complex litigation matters, including constitutional rights issues, contact issues and cases involving disputes over large scale real estate developments. Mr. Pinkney practices litigation in State, Federal and Tribunal Courts.
