Biography

Jon Ostroff is deeply committed to his clients, his profession, and his values. These virtues have allowed Jon Ostroff to obtain million dollar recoveries for his clients across Pennsylvania. One of the rare 20/20 lawyers in America, Jon has helped over 20,000 injured Pennsylvanians over the past 20 years. Jon has passionately fought for his clients since his graduation from Delaware Law School in 1989. Before law school, Jon received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Business School at Pennsylvania State University. While in law school, Jon held the prestigious position of assisting Honorable Daniel Hermann, Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. Jon has owned and managed his law firm since 1993. Jon Ostroff has received numerous honors and awards, which demonstrate the depth of his commitment to his clients, the legal profession, and helping those affected by the tragedy of drunk driving. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) of Pennsylvania has designated Jon an "Honorary Member." Jon has frequently been called upon by MADD to be a featured speaker at various functions. Because Jon himself has lost friends and has family members who've endured severe injuries and loss at the hands of drunk drivers, he is deeply committed to the many victims of these tragic crashes. Because of the excellent results he has obtained on behalf of victims of drunk driving crashes and the unwavering commitment he has shown to these victims while handling their cases, MADD representatives recommend Jon to crash victims who contact the organization in search of a lawyer. Special Master Ken Feinberg and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer honored Jon on behalf of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund for his tireless pro bono (free) representation of those injured and killed in the 9/11 tragedy. Forbes Magazine honored Jon with the New Enterprise Award for his new innovations in business and enterprise after he founded Divorce Done Right which offers families a peaceful inexpensive alternative way to divorce. Only two days after Hurricane Katrina wiped out the Gulf Coast, Jon arrived to spend two weeks assisting in the massive cleanup effort. Since then, Jon has continued to support victims of this terrible disaster. Jon is a Certified Mediator. This means that Jon is certified to help injured victims resolve their injury claims through the use of Mediation.
