Our experienced staff includes two attorneys, an accountant, and a legal assistant to assist you in income tax matters, estate planning, estate and trust administration, business entity formation, and other civil matters.

Jack Thornton opened J.E. Thornton, P.A. on January 1, 2006. Jack has practiced law in Winston-Salem since 1977. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Winston-Salem and has maintained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Alex Thornton has worked for J.E. Thornton, P.A. since 2009 as a law clerk and as an attorney since September, 2011.

Jack and Alex are licensed to practice law in North Carolina and members of the North Carolina Bar Association.
