Jessica Ticktin attended Florida State University from which she graduated in 2001 with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Criminology. While in college, she was involved in the law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta, and worked for a local law firm. Her summers were spent working at her father's law firm in Boca Raton. Following college, she attended Stetson University College of Law from which she graduated in 2003. While in law school, Ms. Ticktin had the opportunity to gain legal experience through a judicial internship in the circuit civil court where she was given the invaluable opportunity of learning the legal system from the inside out. After graduating from law school, she started her career as an associate attorney with her father's law firm which focused mainly on civil litigation matters, including personal injury, contract, corporate, and family law cases. In early 2005, after handling a variety of cases, she began to focus her efforts solely on family law matters and worked as an associate for a law firm that exclusively handled family law cases. After several years, she became a partner to a prestigious family law attorney in North Palm Beach. In addition, Ms. Ticktin served as a co-chair on a committee for the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, and is currently a member of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, among other committees within each association. Ms. Ticktin joined The Ticktin Law Group in 2009 as Managing Partner and is instrumental in supervising and attending to other work of The Ticktin Law Group, P.A., including Divorce, Real Estate, Foreclosure Defense, Personal Injury, NASD and other Arbitrations and Administrative and other areas of the practice of law.
