Biography

Andrew Abel is an AV Preeminent Rated trial attorney at The Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. His entire practice is devoted to assisting the victims of personal injury and wrongful death in their times of need.

Andrew has been an attorney at The Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. since 2014 and has assisted his deserving clients in the recovery of over $100 Million Dollars in compensation. He is admitted to the Bars of the State of Florida, the State of Ohio, the United District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Andrew has handled all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout the state of Florida.

Andrew received his law degree cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law where he graduated in the top ten percent of his class and served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. Andrew was on the Dean’s List every semester, he received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and he was awarded Book Awards for the top grades in Appellate Advocacy and State & Local Government Law.

During law school, Andrew completed prestigious internships as a judicial intern to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan in both the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and for the Honorable Mark King Leban in the Appellate Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Andrew practiced law at a litigation firm in Miami, Florida. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012.

Andrew had the privilege and honor to litigate with the firm’s founder, renowned trial attorney, Randall L. Spivey, for more than a decade where Mr. Spivey imparted his impeccable standards, legal knowledge, professionalism, and compassion for the firm’s clients in their times of need.

Andrew holds a business degree from Ohio University College of Business where he double majored in Marketing and Business law.

Andrew is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar and a member of the Florida Justice Association; an organization committed to preserving the rights of victims and their families in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
