Bertrand Parnall is the founder and
owner of Parnall Law Firm, established in 2009. His experiences throughout his
life have shaped the type of law firm he wanted to create, with a focus on
making lives better for individuals who have been injured through no fault of
their own. Bertrand Parnall's upbringing involved living in various countries,
including Senegal, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Tunisia, where he witnessed extreme
poverty and hunger. These experiences influenced his desire to advocate for
fairness and justice.
Bertrand Parnall greatly admired his
father, Theodore Parnall, who was a law professor at the University of New
Mexico School of Law and a resident legal advisor in multiple countries.
Bertrand initially envisioned himself as a writer and pursued a major in
history and French at Rice University. He received his B.A. from Rice
University in 1993 and later attended the University of New Mexico School of
Law.
Parnall Law Firm has experienced
significant growth while maintaining a strong focus on providing excellent
service to clients. Bertrand Parnall believes that what sets the firm apart is
the way they treat their clients — with empathy, commitment, and
responsiveness. The firm operates as a team, emphasizing values such as
teamwork, talent, truth, tenacity, and triumph.
Bertrand Parnall's commitment to
teamwork and tenacity stems from his athletic background, having been involved
in football, competitive boxing, and judo. He holds a second-degree black belt
in judo. Outside of his legal career, Bertrand Parnall has been actively
involved in community service. He served as the president of the Rotary Club of
Albuquerque, participated on various boards such as Popejoy and the New Mexico
Law School Alumni Association, and is an advisory board member for Mothers
Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Additionally, he engages in pro bono activities
such as Law-La-Palooza.
Bertrand Parnall is a member of
professional and bar associations, including the New Mexico State Bar,
Albuquerque Bar Association, National Crime Victim Bar Association, National
Center for Victims of Crime, National Alliance of Victims' Rights Attorney, and
the Inns of Court. He holds an "AV" rating from Martindale Hubbell,
indicating a high level of professional excellence and ethical standards in his
legal practice.
