Bret Lee is the founder of Bret Lee Legal Solutions. Bret ensures that his clients receive the advice they need and protects their rights throughout their case. Bret represents clients in a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor cases, ranging from traffic matters such as reckless driving and DUIs to major felony charges such as possession of drugs, conspiracies, assault, fraud, and sexual battery. He practices throughout Northern Virginia, including Fairfax County, Prince William, Herndon, Vienna, Fairfax City, Alexandria, Arlington, Loudoun and the U.S. District Court – Eastern District of Virginia in Alexandria. Bret is an active member of the bar of Virginia and of the District of Columbia.
Bret’s work has also involved extensive appellate brief writing and a vigorous motions practice, including motions to suppress evidence, motions for bond, motions for discovery, and other motions for relief in federal and state prosecutions. Before going into private practice, Bret worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge Watkins in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
Bret is a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of the George Mason University School of Law where he was the managing editor of the George Mason Law Review and served on the Moot Court Board. His undergraduate degree is from the College of William and Mary. He lives in Vienna, Virginia, and is a longtime resident of the Commonwealth.
