Brian Louis Salvi

Brian L. Salvi is an Equity Partner at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard who has built a reputation for securing exceptional results in some of the firm’s most complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases. In his time with the firm, he has recovered more than $375 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients and their families.

Known for his meticulous preparation, strategic approach, and unwavering commitment to his clients, Mr. Salvi represents individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, medical negligence, and defective products. He works closely with every individual and family he represents, thoughtfully guiding them through each stage of the legal process while pursuing the best possible result.

Among Mr. Salvi’s most recent trial successes is a $12.2 million jury verdict he secured as lead attorney on behalf of a truck driver who suffered serious injuries in a crash on Interstate 70. This was the first plaintiff’s verdict ever awarded in Fayette County, Illinois. In 2025, Mr. Salvi served as lead attorney in two wrongful death cases that resulted in settlements of $60 million and $9.15 million.

Mr. Salvi also served on a trial team that obtained a $50.3 million jury verdict on behalf of a child who suffered a severe and permanent brain injury due to a delay in the diagnosis and treatment of hypoxia (oxygen deficiency) at birth. In 2021, he won a $21.05 million verdict for a 33-year-old mother who suffered a thoracic spine injury requiring T1-6 fusion in a 2017 Maywood, Illinois crash. Also in 2022, Mr. Salvi and his wife, Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. attorney Eirene N. Salvi, obtained a $4.25 million settlement on behalf of the family of a 13-year-old boy who was killed in a car crash. The settlement is the highest wrongful death settlement on record in Kendall County, Illinois.

After serving as a law clerk at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard during law school, Mr. Salvi joined the firm as an attorney in 2013 and became a Partner in 2019. He was named Equity Partner in 2026.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and Notre Dame Law School, Mr. Salvi distinguished himself as a member of Notre Dame’s national championship-winning trial advocacy team in 2013. That passion for courtroom advocacy continues to shape his practice today.

In recognition of his outstanding legal work, Mr. Salvi was honored by Crain’s Chicago Business as a “Notable Rising Star in Law,” named among Law Bulletin Media’s “40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty” and “Leading Lawyers,” and recognized annually by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers.

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Salvi serves on the Chicago Advisory Board of the Concussion Legacy Foundation and enjoys spending time with his wife, Eirene N. Salvi, and their two children. His dedication to his family, community, and his clients continues to shape the way he approaches every case.
