Founded in 1982 by Patrick A. Salvi, the firm maintains primary offices in Chicago and Waukegan, serving clients across Illinois and nationwide.

The firm is recognized for establishing early evidentiary standards in Illinois trial practice, notably pioneer use of forensic economic experts to prove future lost earning capacity in Lake County tort litigation. Over more than four decades, the practice expanded through key partnerships, including late partner Michael P. Schostok (1998) and David Pritchard (1999), who co-founded the firm’s Chicago presence.
