Biography

Caroline McLeod joined the Issues and Appeals section of The Lanier Law Firm in 2018. Her practice involves briefing in trial and appellate courts in the areas of mass tort litigation, products liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation.

Ms. McLeod grew up in Abilene, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law, where she was elected into the Order of the Coif and served on the executive board of the Texas Tech Law Review.

Ms. McLeod earned individual recognition for her law review comment, which was published as the Outstanding Student Comment for Book 2, Volume 50 of the Texas Tech Law Review. She was also the recipient of the Sprouse Shrader Smith Top Grade Award in Property Law, and earned the Top Grade Award in Legal Practice II and Employment Discrimination Law. In addition, Ms. McLeod earned the Distinction Award in Criminal Procedure, Environmental Law, Torts, Contracts, Water Law, Professional Responsibility, Employment Law, Nonprofit Organizations, and Legal Practice I.

Prior to law school, Ms. McLeod received her B.S. in Psychology at Texas A&M University.

Ms. McLeod resides in Houston with her husband and their two Goldendoodles. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, fitness, and walking her dogs.
