W. Mark Lanier recently led the charge against Meta and Google for social media addiction, securing a landmark $6 million jury verdict for our client, K.G.M. Our firm's historic victories also include a $4.69 billion verdict against Johnson & Johnson for 22 women who contracted ovarian cancer from asbestos-laden talc products. Additionally, we secured a $9 billion verdict against Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. and Eli Lilly & Co. over the diabetes drug Actos.

Our dedicated mesothelioma practice represents clients in all 50 states and maintains a historic trial record. We earned a $115.6 million verdict in Texas for 21 steelworkers who developed asbestos-related diseases at an Alabama steel mill—the largest asbestos verdict ever awarded against a single defendant. We also secured a groundbreaking $39 million verdict proving that asbestos-contaminated talc used in talc pleurodesis procedures causes mesothelioma.

Not all cases require a trial. Our track record allows us to negotiate against corporate defendants from a position of strength and resolve matters out of court.
