Biography

Cathy joined the firm in 2018 where her practice focuses on commercial real estate, representing buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants of commercial property throughout South Carolina as well as lenders in commercial real estate secured loan transactions.

She has experience in negotiating and closing a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, exchange, leasing and financing transactions. Cathy is also a title insurance agent for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company. She is also a licensed real estate broker.

Cathy was in the real estate department of the Charlotte-based law firm of Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman, LLP in their South Carolina office and Hamilton Martens, LLC in Rock Hill, South Carolina prior to joining Spencer & Spencer, P.A.
