Biography

Chris is a seasoned trial lawyer, representing seriously injured clients across the United States in cases across Tennessee. Chris is dedicated to pursuing justice for clients through the civil justice system, focusing on catastrophic and serious injury cases, hip implant failures and other defective medical devices, trucking accidents, and other incidents leading to life-changing harms, Chris focuses on telling compelling stories using persuasion and skill to focus courts and juries to maximize impact for his clients. He makes personal injury representation personal for his clients.His first trial involved representation of a family whose father was killed on a dangerous highway where State workers used woefully inadequate safety procedures when maintaining medians. He has tried cases for wrongful death and serious injury resulting from defective products. Chris actively represents people suffering hip implant and other medical device failures, families hurt by reckless drivers, truck accident disasters, and other cases where people have been seriously hurt due to the carelessness of others. Speaking truth to power and standing up for the voiceless are part of his approach with clients.

Through his experience and network of contacts, Chris handles cases on behalf of clients across the country, and he often enters into co-counsel arrangements with referring attorneys. Chris is licensed in Tennessee, Arkansas, and the District of Columbia. He as admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Tennessee, as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Chris has also appeared before various other state and federal trial courts in multiple states.

He is an active member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, Western Trial Lawyers Association, Southern Trial Lawyers Association, and regularly presents at legal CLE events to educate lawyers on best practices to improve skills and protect access to justice. Chris frequently works with co-counsel across the U.S, and welcomes the opportunity to build new and lasting relationships.
