Christopher R. Hedrick has been practicing law since 1992 in Virginia
and North Carolina with a focus on civil litigation, personal injury
defense, municipal litigation, commercial litigation, and defending
claims under the Longshore Act. He regularly appears in the District
Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Circuit Courts
throughout Eastern Virgina. Throughout his career, he has tried over
300 civil jury trials and over 1000 bench trials. Mr. Hedrick is a
past president of the Newport News Bar Association, and past
president of the Virginia Chapter of the American Board of Trial
Attorneys. He is also a member of the Virginia State Bar, North
Carolina State Bar, American Bar Association, and the Virginia
Association of Defense Attorneys as well as multiple bar association
committees. Mr. Hedrick also served in the United States Army as a
Judge Advocate, retiring from the Army Reserve as a Colonel after
thirty years of service and has extensive experience with complex
administrative investigations and personnel actions. Mr. Hedrick
graduated from Wake Forest University with honors, and the the
Williams and Mary School of Law. He also holds a Masters Degree from
the United States Army War College in Strategic Studies.
