Biography

Cliff S. Schneider is the Firm's lead transactional lawyer and practices in the Manhattan office. He focuses his practice on the representation of individuals and businesses in routine to complex business transactions and providing counsel to clients in their acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of commercial and residential property.
Mr. Schneider has assisted many clients in the formation of new business entities in industries including media, advertising, sports, fitness, health care, professional service firms and not-for-profit organizations, and provides ongoing support to many of them by acting as their outside general counsel.
In addition to Mr. Schneider's business, corporate and real estate practice, he also represents charter schools, educational management & charter management organizations, educational service providers and other education support organizations throughout the country and in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Schneider speaks frequently at national conferences on education law and policy topics and was a contributing author to Paul T. O'Neill, Esq.'s 2007 Charter School Law Deskbook published by Lexis Nexis. Mr. Schneider is also a founding board member of the La Cima Charter School located in Brooklyn, New York.

Activities and Special Recognition: Founding Board Member of La Cima Charter School; Co-Founder of Playground Champions, Inc., a not-for-profit organization formed to run sports leagues and tournaments with proceeds used to build playgrounds at NYC schools; Co-author of edlawblog.com- a education law and policy blog.
