Cristina Delise

Cristina Delise joined The Lanier Law Firm in 2015 as an associate in the Pharmaceutical Litigation and Commercial Litigation divisions. She represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, centering on mass torts, class actions, and commercial litigation.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. John’s University, Cristina served as Deputy Chief of Staff for a New York State Assemblyman. In that role, she acted as a legislative advisor and focused her attention on healthcare and medical-related legislation.

Cristina attended St. John’s University School of Law. There, she expanded her interest in health law and concentrated her efforts on trial and appellate medical litigation. She served as President of the Women’s Law Society and Vice President of the Health Law Society. In addition, Cristina was a member of the St. John’s University School of Law Moot Court Honor Society, during which time she earned a national moot court championship in oral advocacy and was nationally recognized for her outstanding legal writing. In 2015, Cristina was awarded the prestigious St. John’s University School of Law Public Service Award for her notable Pro Bono work throughout her law school tenure.

Cristina is a dedicated advocate who has assisted in securing millions of dollars in settlement for individuals who have been injured by dangerous pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, including those injured by Actos, a Type 2 Diabetes drug linked to bladder cancer.

A growing area of Cristina’s practice involves complex commercial litigation and business disputes. She served on the trial team for a coalition of sugar farmers and producers, in their suit against agribusiness conglomerates for false advertising. She was a key member of the litigation team that secured a favorable settlement for San Antonio’s Harlandale Independent School District in litigation charging that HVAC equipment installed in school buildings created a hazardous mold problem. Cristina is currently representing EpiPen purchasers who were overcharged for life-saving medication in a nation-wide lawsuit.
