Biography

The Principal Partner at the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hochheiser, Daniel A. Hochheiser, has risen through the ranks through his dedication, hard work, intelligence and experience in criminal court. He graduated from Yeshiva University's Cardozo School of Law. Upon gaining his J.D., he proceeded to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County from the years 1996-1999, where he tried many tough cases, such as felony drug cases.

He then joined Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer. After his tenure at the firm, he joined his father's criminal defense law firm, which led to the establishment of this outstanding father/son law team, the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hochheiser. He has a stellar reputation as a litigator, and he specializes in criminal trials, appeals and defending individuals and businesses that are facing accusations of fraud, counterfeit products, labor law violations, discrimination and malicious prosecution. He is one of the premier criminal attorneys in New York City.

His reputation is built upon a solid foundation of legal knowledge, experience and a truly impressive ability to craft a winning defense. He has served as counsel in many high profile cases, including the Big Apple "Sex Tour" trial in Dutchess County; the Manhattan Madam case, in which his plea bargaining resulted in a dismissal of money laundering charges, probation and forfeiture, with the client facing no addition jail time for these offenses; the Jeannot murder-for-hire trails; and the Evergreen trial in which a corporate lawyer was accused of a $30 million conspiracy.

Moot Court Honor Society. Assistant District Attorney, Bronx County, 1996-1999.
