Broward County. He earned his undergraduate degree in Communications, cum
laude, from Florida State University before attaining his Juris Doctor from
Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law School. Mr. Simmons began his legal career
as an Assistant State Attorney and then as an Assistant Public Defender in
Broward County where he was a lead attoney gaining invaluable experience prosecuting and defending both misdemeanor
