Biography

Practice areas include: wills, trusts and estates, estate litigation, probate, administration and estate taxation; guardianship; corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, negotiation and review; and residential and commercial real estate transactions. Estate planning experience, includes meeting with clients to devise an estate plan, drafting wills, trusts (including revocable living trusts and irrevocable life insurance trusts), advance planning documents such as powers of attorney and health care proxies; probate and estate administration in Surrogate’s Court, including ancillary proceedings; planning for persons with special needs, including supplemental needs trusts; and preparation of estate tax returns. Has been appointed as and served as guardian, counsel to guardian, counsel to alleged incapacitated person, court evaluator, temporary guardian, guardian ad litem and trustee of supplemental needs trust in the counties of New York, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk. Volunteer as a fee arbitrator in Nassau County under Part 137 of the Rules of the Chief Judge.
