Estate planning experience includes meeting with clients to devise an estate plan, drafting wills, trusts (including revocable living trusts and irrevocable trusts), advance planning documents such as powers of attorney and health care proxies; probate and administration in Surrogate's Courts, including Nassau, Queens, New York, Kings, Richmond, Suffolk and Westchester Counties; planning for persons with special needs and preparation of estate tax returns. Ms. Rosenthal has served as guardian ad litem, guardian, counsel to guardian, court evaluator, temporary guardian and trustee of supplemental needs trusts in the counties of New York, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk. Ms. Rosenthal has represented clients in accountings and contested proceedings in Surrogate's Courts. She has a wide array of experience in small business planning, including drafting and negotiating limited liability agreements, including preparation of limited liability company agreements for real estate entities and asset and stock purchase agreements. Experience also includes draftiing and negotiating residential and commercial leases and real estate contracts of sale for residential and commercial premises.
