Edward L. Osuna

Edward L. Osuna was born in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Osuna is admitted into the Texas Supreme Court – Texas Bar, the Texas Federal Northern District Court, and the Texas Federal Western District Court.

Education: Edward graduated from Southwest Texas State University (B.S. 1988) and the University of Houston Law (J.D. 1991). He has been board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law since 1996.

Member past and present: Texas Bar Association, San Antonio Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and a selected member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (“CLM”).

Experienced in general insurance defense litigation matters including motor vehicle collisions, trucking litigation, dram shop, premises liability matters, slander, defamation, breach of contract, employer liability, consumer protection law, constitutional law, construction defect, and first-party insurance litigation matters. He has been an invited participant at the annual Texas Minority Counsel Seminar and has been an invited speaker/instructor for insurance claim representative continuing education seminars. He has tried more than 100 matters to verdict and has successfully litigated to verdict in venues including but not limited to Bexar, Maverick, Tarrant, Kerr, Frio, Travis and Dallas Counties. He is also an invited trial instructor with the continuing TADC trial program. Publications include claims handling newsletters. Litigation venues include but are not limited to central and southern counties such as Dallas, LaSalle, Travis, Bexar, Maverick, Williamson, Kerr, La Verde, Wilson, Gonzales, Comal, Jim Wells, Dimmit, Zavala, Webb, Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy, Cameron, Ft. Bend, Harris and Nueces County. He has also been recognized state wide for his trial work and defense verdicts.

Most recently, he has been selected to join the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (“CLM”). The CLM is a nonpartisan alliance comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, Corporate Counsel, Litigation and Risk Managers, claims professionals and attorneys.
