Ms. Sparks and I were involved in a very substantial acquisition of corporations for the company where she was general counsel, and the sale of other corporate subsidiaries. The transactions involved real estate and property law issues in five midwestern states, a complicated financial structure and numerous other issues related to contract preformance, easements and related issues.
