Elizabeth has built a remarkable career in health care litigation, drawing on her background as a Registered Nurse to establish herself as a formidable litigator. For nearly twenty years, she has adeptly defended physicians, practice groups, and hospitals against medical negligence and wrongful death claims. Her formidable legal acumen extends to representing providers during investigations by professional boards and arguing cases before the Tennessee Court of Appeals. In 2015, Elizabeth completed the American Bar Association’s National Trial Academy in Tort Trial and Insurance Practice, earning high praise for her performance. Her accomplishments include being named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2018. Elizabeth frequently shares her insights on health care litigation with the legal community and has contributed to educating medical students at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. As a Tennessee Bar Association House of Delegates representative for the First Judicial District since 2014, she actively engages in professional leadership.
