Ellen Anna Wright is a seasoned Massachusetts divorce attorney known for her direct style, practical guidance, and relentless commitment to helping families move through crisis with dignity. Admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 2009 and to the New Hampshire bar in 2016, she focuses her practice on divorce, child custody, mediation, family law, and bankruptcy. She became a certified family court mediator in 2013 and has volunteered for years in Probate and Family Court as both a conciliator and Lawyer for the Day.

Ellen founded Wright Family Law Group with a clear mission: to support people in the middle of family upheaval and give them the tools to overcome adversity. The firm has earned a reputation for guiding clients through high-conflict custody issues, financial strain, and the emotional fallout of divorce with equal parts experience and compassion. As a recovered alcoholic, Ellen brings a level of empathy and insight that resonates deeply with clients facing substance-abuse-related challenges in their families. She understands what crisis feels like—and how families can rebuild.

Beyond the courtroom, Ellen created The Wright Family Law Academy™, an educational arm of the firm designed to meet clients where traditional legal services stop. The Academy offers practical, accessible programs that help people stay grounded and empowered throughout the divorce process, including the well-known 30-Day Divorce Self-Care Challenge, workshops, and other content that gives clients real tools to navigate the emotional and logistical chaos of family restructuring. The goal is simple: build confidence, reduce overwhelm, and help people take control of their lives again.

Ellen also oversees the firm’s dedicated Divorce Support Services Division, which provides divorce coaching and support groups for past and present clients. By blending legal representation with emotional support and structured guidance, Wright Family Law Group offers a holistic model rarely seen in traditional family law practices.

In 2017, Ellen was appointed by Governor Charlie Baker to the Tewksbury Hospital Board of Trustees. She lives in Hamilton with her two children and three cats, who routinely appear in her stories—and occasionally in her videos.
