Erik Paul Seidel

Erik is an experienced attorney licensed to practice in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. Heearned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science inOrganizational Management, summa cum laude, from Manhattan University.

Erik began his career in public service, including in the U.S. Air Force as an Airborne Warningand Control System (AWACS) radar specialist. He later served with the New York City PoliceDepartment, where he held multiple roles within the Legal Bureau, ultimately becoming theCommanding Officer of the Civil Litigation Unit. In that capacity, he acted as the primary liaisonbetween the NYPD and the New York City Corporation Counsel in assisting with the defense ofcivil rights claims.

After relocating to Florida, Erik served as a Division Lead Prosecuting Attorney the Florida StateAttorney’s Office in Palm Beach County’s 15th Judicial Circuit, where he handled criminalprosecutions and conducted trials. He subsequently practiced as a litigation attorney with a NewYork firm representing special needs children and their families in securing appropriateeducational services, including ensuring compliance with the right to a Free Appropriate PublicEducation.

Erik also brings significant in-house experience, having served as Chief Legal Officer for apublicly traded logistics and energy company. Erik is a per-diem public arbitrator for FINRA.His diverse background across government, litigation, and corporate law provides him with awell-rounded perspective in serving his clients.

Erik and his family now reside in South Florida, where they enjoy the local lifestyle. In his freetime, he is an avid weightlifter and healthy lifestyle practitioner.
