Biography

Greg Smith has worked in the White House Counsel's Office, argued and won in the U.S. Supreme Court, and served as president of two major bar associations.  In more than 20 years of practicing law, Greg has zealously represented clients in both criminal and civil litigation, often as lead counsel in federal jury trials and in oral arguments before various appellate courts, and he also has defended clients facing serious criminal and corporate investigations.  Greg has been involved in high-profile cases and performed in high-pressure situations, including day-to-day interactions on behalf of the Clinton White House with Congressional committees and with the offices of independent counsel, and as a Counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
