Mr. MacDonald was born in Flint, Michigan, May 21, 1950. He graduated from John Carrol University and Michigan State University in 1972 and from St. Mary's University of San Antonio, Texas School of Law in 1975. He is the recipient of the 2016 Excellence in Defense Award from the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel.
