Biography

James Curlin is an associate in the Rogers office of Hall Booth Smith, where he advises clients on both litigation and transactional matters in business transactions, general liability, labor & employment, real estate, dental and medical malpractice, and estate planning.

Before joining HBS as an associate, James gained valuable experience as a summer associate and law clerk with the firm. He also served as Dean’s fellow for Cynthia E. Nance, Dean of the University of Arkansas School of Law. James also clerked with several Arkansas law firms, and in the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office.

James earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he served as Note & Comment Editor for the Arkansas Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, Sam M. Walton College of Business.
