About this firm

In 1989, Hall Booth Smith, P.C. opened its doors as a litigation firm in Atlanta, Georgia. The firm has expanded from an insurance defense practice to a full service law firm with over thirty practice areas. Headquartered in Atlanta, HBS maintains regional offices throughout the Southeast. HBS has expanded our service internationally by opening an office in Tbilisi, Georgia.

With over 200 attorneys and staff, we provide the legal counsel associated with a larger law firm and the personal attention and effectiveness of a smaller firm. Nationally and internationally, we offer our clients personal and professional expertise resulting from our own experience as local, state, and federal government officials; service in various branches of the military; and memberships and leaderships in community, state, and federal committees. Our attorneys have extensive experience speaking and/or serving as panelists at industry related events, authoring articles and various white papers for industry and trade publications, conducting continuing legal education seminars, and serving on boards of professional industry and trade organizations.

Our clients range from individuals to governments and government agencies as well as domestic and international companies. We work hard to anticipate, advise, and assist our clients throughout the entire legal process.

Steven was exceptional. He made time to thoroughly understand the facts and circumstances of the lawsuit. He replied to the appeal in great detail with force, clarity and accuracy. Steven took a personal interest in the case. It was reassuring to have a representative who diligently fought for us and presented our facts conviction and integrity. We won a unanimous victory. I highly recommend Steven Bristol.

Brad was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I was very confused and uncertain as to how everything should be handled. He explained things clearly and set my mind at ease. He is very extremely knowledgeable, personable as well as responsive. Again, he was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him.

I was unsure of all the things I needed to do when my son died suddenly
without a will. John David explained everything explicitly and made me feel very comfortable through the process. He had such empathy for me and our family during this difficult tragedy. John has handled many things in the past such as a closing, making of my will, and just general law questions answered for me. I would recommend Mr. Dean to anybody seeking help in any area. Very nice young man with gracious manners.
