Jason’s legal career of covers over twenty-five years as both a transactional and litigation attorney, in which he has worked with a diverse range of clients, including state, local, and tribal governments, large and small construction companies, design professionals, insurance firms, railroads, and various other businesses needing legal support. He has made his mark in the courtroom, successfully litigating cases in the United States Fifth Circuit, all three Louisiana federal district courts, the Louisiana Supreme Court, tribal courts, and almost every state appellate and district court in Louisiana. He has previously served as the Deputy General Counsel for the State Division of Administration, where he played a critical part in major public construction projects, drafting public works law, negotiating complex business transactions to rebuild the state’s infrastructure after Hurricane Katriana.
