Jeff T. Gorman

Jeff Gorman took an uncommon route to becoming a trusted trial lawyer on Florida’s Treasure Coast. Before focusing on law, he studied engineering, an experience that sharpened his analytical mindset and taught him to break complex problems into workable parts. He earned dual degrees in Economics and Political Science in 1996, then joined a Washington, D.C. firm where he managed hundreds of federal ERISA matters nationwide. That early immersion in litigation helped him develop a strong command of evidence, procedure, and negotiation. Jeff later received his J.D. from Catholic University Columbus School of Law in 2001, with hands-on experience through internships with a U.S. District Court judge and the U.S. Department of Justice. In Florida, he built courtroom credibility as both a public defender and a prosecutor, trying a high volume of serious felony cases to verdict. In 2008, he launched Jeff T. Gorman Law Offices after leaving the State Attorney’s Office and a legislative run. Today he represents clients in criminal defense, personal injury, and family law, and is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
