Biography

For Jeff, practicing family law means helping clients navigate life’s most challenging transitions with clarity, compassion, and strength. He believes that family law is not just about resolving disputes — it’s about guiding people toward a future they can build with confidence.

Jeff’s approach to family law is focused on building a relationship with each client on a foundation of trust, aimed at achieving their individual goals in a manner that is both thorough and efficient.

Jeff is a North Carolina Board-Certified Specialist in Family Law, a distinction held by fewer than 250 attorneys statewide. Since 2009, he has dedicated his entire practice to divorce and family law, bringing both experience and balance to every case. As a certified Family Financial Mediator and trusted arbitrator, Jeff is known for his ability to resolve complex disputes fairly and efficiently. His peers regularly call on him for advice, and he has shared his knowledge as a speaker and educator for the North Carolina Bar Association and other legal organizations.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Jeff has called North Carolina home since beginning his legal career. Away from the courtroom, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Becky, and their two daughters, Harper and Josie. His roots in both family and community fuel his commitment to helping clients protect what matters most.
