Was born in Longview, Texas. Jeff was admitted to the Texas Supreme Court and the Texas Bar in 1992. Jeff was admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas in 1995, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in 2004 and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in 2009. Jeff attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1989. Jeff attended South Texas College of Law where he graduated in the top 15% of his class, was a member of the Order of the Lytae and Phi Delta Phi and received his J.D. in 1992.
Jeff’s practice primarily focuses on construction and construction defect matters as well as complex and/or catastrophic damage cases involving products liability and negligence claims. Jeff is experienced in a broad range of litigation matters including construction litigation, tort, mass tort, and toxic tort litigation, products liability, commercial litigation, fraud, deceptive trade practices, transportation litigation, new law worker’s compensation, defense of non-subscribers, and insurance litigation. In addition, Jeff has experience in a variety of transactional and real estate issues. Jeff is a member of: Texas Bar Association (Member: Construction Law section and Litigation Section), American Bar Association, San Antonio Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute (Member: Product Liability Committee and Construction Law Committee), Texas Bar Foundation and Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.
Jeff and his wife Lisa have two children and attend University United Methodist Church. Jeff is a Shareholder in Curney, Farmer, House & Osuna, P.C. In addition, Jeff is a Past President of the San Antonio Texas Exes; a Member of the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Texas Exes and the San Antonio Longhorn Club; and Past President of the San Antonio Longhorn Club for the year 2010 – 2011.
