Biography

Before joining the Genie Harrison Law Firm, Jennifer served as associate general counsel for a top Internet search engine company. She then litigated and tried employment and personal injury cases, as lead counsel, at top Los Angeles law firms for two decades. Jennifer joined the Genie Harrison Law Firm as a Senior Attorney to continue the pursuit of justice on behalf of the firm’s deserving clients.

In 2014 and from 2018-2026, Jennifer was honored by being listed to Southern California Super Lawyers in both Plaintiff’s Employment Litigation and Personal Injury matters. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2013, Jennifer was named by Super Lawyers to its Southern California Rising Stars list, which is a distinct honor bestowed on only 2.5% of practicing attorneys under the age of 40.

Some of the settlements and verdicts Jennifer has obtained include:

Van Laningham vs. Van Wormer, Inc. et al. — $3.3M jury verdict against owners of a Mexican hotel chain for breach of an exclusive booking contract.

$1.125M settlement for a generator technician who sustained a brain injury as a result of discrimination based on his national origin.

$1.675M settlement for a construction worker who sustained a spinal crush injury from a fallen wall.

$2.5M settlement for plaintiff whose car collided with a tractor-trailer.

Jennifer grew up in France where she received her Baccalaurat Economique et Social. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University and then graduated from Loyola Law School.

Jennifer is admitted to practice before California state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Central District of California.

She is a leader in the Los Angeles legal community as a member of the Board of Governors for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, of the Executive Committee for the Beverly Hills Bar Association Employment Law Section and of the Women Empowering Women Section. She is also a member of the American Association for Justice’s International Relations Committee. Jennifer is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. Jennifer has been the chair of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section from 2020-2022.

Jennifer is, of course, fluent in French.
