Biography

Joe is a partner with the firm and has been working here since 2008. His practice is primarily insurance defense with a focus on automotive and trucking liability, medical malpractice, and premises and products liability. He has handled and tried cases throughout all north Florida and southern Georgia.

Joe is admitted to practice in all Florida and Georgia state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), Defense Research Institute (DRI), Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA), and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC). He is currently AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Professionalism with the Florida Bar and is on the Board of Directors for the Florida Defense Lawyer's Association.

Joe received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University and his Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. In law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Society, Mock Trial team, and a law journal. He is fluent in Spanish.

In his free time, he enjoys being in the outdoors and spending time with his family.
