Biography

Joel I. Fishbein is Of Counsel with Hall Booth Smith and focuses his practice on aging services, health care, and medical malpractice, appellate, arbitration & mediation, employment and business litigation..

With more than three decades of litigation and risk management experience, Joel represents long-term care providers, hospitals, physicians, and businesses in complex disputes. Joel has tried and arbitrated numerous cases to successful outcomes, including achieving a multi-million-dollar arbitration award on behalf of a business owner and securing appellate decisions enforcing arbitration agreements in assisted living contracts..

He is certified in Mediation by Harvard Law School and earned his J.D. from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law, where he served as note and comment editor for the Temple Law Review. He also holds a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
