Joshua was born and raised in South Florida and attended school in Broward County. After graduating high school at the top of his class, Joshua attended Florida State University where he continued to excel in the classroom. While earning his degrees in Communications and English, Joshua began to develop his competitive speaking skills as the President and Captain of the Florida State University Speech and Debate Team. Joshua quickly became of the top debaters in the country. In consecutive years, Joshua was a three-time State Champion and thirty-two-time National Finalist.
After graduating college, earning degrees in Communications and English, Joshua attended at the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. While in law school, Joshua was a Certified Legal Intern (“CLI”) at the Public Defender's Officer in Broward County, Florida. Even prior to becoming a lawyer, as a CLI, Joshua experienced great success in the courtroom. He went to trial numerous times, representing people charged with various Felony and misdemeanor crimes.
After graduating Law School, Joshua was hired as an Assistant State Attorney at the Broward County State Attorney's Office where he prosecuted thousands of cases. During his time as a Prosecutor, Joshua handled every type of criminal offense in Felony, Misdemeanor, and Juvenile Courts.
Today, Joshua is devoted to representing people who are charged with crimes throughout the State of Florida. While Joshua practices primarily in Broward County, Palm Beach County and Miami-Dade County, he has dedicated himself to being one of the top criminal defense attorneys in South Florida. Joshua uses his legal knowledge and exceptional trial skills to get the best results for everyone he represents.
