Biography

Kathryn “Katie” Dunnam Harden is a Partner in the firm’s office in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is licensed to practice in both Georgia and Florida. She focuses her practice on the defense of hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers against medical malpractice claims. Katie also handles long term care cases as well as other professional liability matters, including the representation of attorneys and the like.

Katie received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with minors in History and Art from Mercer University in 2013. She also earned a Juris Doctor from Mercer Law School in 2016. During law school, Katie was a member of the Mercer Law Review, where she served on the Editorial Board as Administrative Editor. As a law review member, she wrote a piece on professional malpractice litigation that was selected for publication in 2015.

Katie also served as president of Mercer Law’s largest student organization, the Association of Women Law Students, and was a member of the Health Law Society. Upon graduation, she received the National Association of Women Lawyer’s Award, which is given to a student who demonstrated academic achievement, contributed to the advancement of women in society, and promoted issues and concerns of women in the legal profession.
