From a young age, Attorney Alexander knew he wanted to be a lawyer. He is passionate about standing up for those who are unable to stand up for themselves, due to injury or misfortune. In 1994, Attorney Alexander obtained a bachelor's degree in legal studies from the University of Louisiana at Monroe before earning a law degree from Southern University at Baton Rouge in 1997. While enrolled at Southern University, Attorney Alexander was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta fraternity.
Mr. Alexander was recently interviewed by Authority Magazine discussing how to run a successful law firm.
A native of Jonesboro, Attorney Alexander understands the legal climate in Louisiana. In addition to having appeared in Ouachita Parish District Court and many other parish courts in the state, he is licensed to practice in the Federal Eastern District of Louisiana, the Federal Western District of Louisiana, the Federal Middle District of Louisiana, the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Louisiana Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court.
Prior to starting his own firm in April of 2011, Attorney Alexander was an Associate at a personal injury/accident plaintiff firm in Monroe, with emphasis on the representation of clients who had been injured through no fault of their own, whether as the result of a motor vehicle accident or even product liability.
Before joining with Daniel P. Parker to form Parker Alexander, Attorney Alexander was the proprietor of his own firm, Kevin D. Alexander, APLC. Although his practice continues to focus primarily on the representation of seriously injured motor vehicle accident victims, he also handles medical malpractice and wrongful death claims in order to better serve the needs of his clients.
Attorney Alexander is licensed to practice in every court in the State of Louisiana, including all city courts, state district courts, federal and state appellate courts, the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Louisiana State Supreme Court. Additionally, Mr. Alexander is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
