Biography

Kirk J. Angel is the founder of The Angel Law Firm, PLLC and a highly experienced employment lawyer. A native of Western North Carolina, Mr. Angel earned his BA in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and went on to receive both his Master’s in Philosophy and Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Angel began his legal career in Knoxville, Tennessee, working with a small firm focused on employment law, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. He later returned to North Carolina to serve as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in the Charlotte District Office, where he litigated and investigated employment matters across the Carolinas. Since founding The Angel Law Firm, PLLC in 2005, Mr. Angel has concentrated his practice on employment law, representing both employees and local businesses. Mr. Angel is recognized for his legal acumen with an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 (Superb) rating on Avvo.com.
