During her time in law school, Kristi's path led her to work for three different law firms in Eastern Washington, opening her eyes to the glaring disparities in power within the justice system. As she delved into the world of prosecuting misdemeanors for two distinct counties during her third year of law school, her deep-seated passion for courtroom advocacy solidified, ultimately leading her back to her roots.

In 2013, Kristi embarked on a collaborative effort with a client and the legislature in Olympia, resulting in the significant revision of landlord obligations concerning the protection of tenants' residence keys.

Recognitions have consistently underscored Kristi's legal prowess and commitment to her field. In 2009, she received the prestigious "Ready to Soar" New Member of the Year award from the Washington State Association for Justice. Her peers selected her for the esteemed "Professionalism Award" in 2018, highlighting her standing within the legal community. Kristi proudly boasts an "A-Rating" from Martindale Hubbell. Notably, she holds the distinction of being a Super Lawyer and held the title of Washington Law & Politics' "Rising Star" from 2012 to 2016.
