Biography

Marco Mercaldo was born in Tucson, Arizona, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1994 from the University of Arizona and his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1998. He was admitted to the California Bar and United States District Court, Southern District of California in 1998, and the Arizona State Bar in 2001 and the US District of Arizona in 2004.

Mr. Mercaldo is currently licensed to practice law throughout California and Arizona. In 2013, Mr. Mercaldo was named by California’s Super Lawyers(c) as one of the top attorneys in San Diego, California. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers. Mr. Mercaldo was also honored as a “Top Lawyer” in San Diego by San Diego Magazine. Mr. Mercaldo is also named a Super Lawyer in Southwest Super Lawyer Magazine. Mr. Mercaldo has been rated “A-V” by Martindale-Hubbell every year since 2009. The “A-V” rating is Martindale Hubbell’s highest possible rating and is based on independent evaluations by judges and lawyers in the legal community.
