Biography

Marie is a civil and commercial litigator concentrating in the successful defense and management of complex product liability allegations, transportation issues, construction matters, business disputes, and consequential warranty claims against a number of U.S. and international manufacturers, distributors, and insurers throughout New England. She has tried cases in the superior courts and handed the appeals of matters in Massachusetts and Connecticut, as well as the federal courts of both jurisdictions.

She has complete responsibility for managing all aspects of litigation defense in products liability cases, franchise disputes, toxic substances litigation, commercial matters, and medical device claims. Working with general counsel, national counsel, and insurers to develop a strategy for discovery and overall litigation. Electronic discovery has become, and will continue to be, an essential element of case evaluation and development. She has conducted and managed the e-discovery efforts of a worldwide leader of mobile devices, and its correlating government anti-trust investigation.

She develops a close working defense team to carefully monitor and predict litigation needs and provide strategic advice on litigation cost management, and am the single point of contact to resolve issues as they arise.
