Biography

Mark A. Larsen has practiced commercial litigation for over 41 years, representing individuals and businesses across Utah and nationwide. As a partner at Larsen & Rico, he has tried numerous complex cases—from local disputes to multi‐jurisdictional claims—on behalf of local, national, and international companies as well as leading insurance carriers. His peers have honored him with selection to the Mountain States edition of Super Lawyers® and awarded him an AV® Distinguished™ Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell® in recognition of his ethics and professional ability. In June 2009, he secured a $20.7 million jury verdict in the Third Judicial District Court of Salt Lake County on behalf of a developer against the City of Tooele. Over the years, Mr. Larsen has achieved multiple seven- and eight-figure settlements, verdicts, and judgments, as well as defense summary judgments in high-stakes commercial lawsuits.
