Michael A. Rosenberg is a Partner in the firm's Fort Lauderdale West office. He is Board Certified in Appellate Practice with The Florida Bar-a status earned by less than two-tenths of one percent of all Florida lawyers. He practices in the all areas of civil appellate litigation and trial support. Mr. Rosenberg maintains a AV Preeminent distinction, the highest available mark for professional excellence issued by Martindale-Hubbell’s Peer Review Ratings held only by approximately 10% of all attorneys nationwide.
Before coming to Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Rosenberg worked for the 17th Judicial Circuit Court (Broward County) as a Supervising Judicial Staff Attorney. As a Judicial Staff Attorney, he advised Broward County Circuit Court Civil Division Judges on all civil matters, conducted legal research, and drafted proposed orders and opinions. Mr. Rosenberg supervised a staff of nine attorneys, and oversaw the civil division and county to circuit court civil appellate division. He also served as President of The Florida Trial Court Staff Attorneys Association.
Mr. Rosenberg earned his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. He was a member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and a member of the International Moot Court Team. While in law school, he received the highest grade (“book award”) both semesters of Legal Research and Writing. Mr. Rosenberg earned his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
